SANE is working on improvements to our Support Line!
Over the next few weeks, we will be undertaking system enhancements, recruiting and training more counsellors and preparing for the relaunch of webchat.
Yes! RELAUNCH OF WEBCHAT! Finally forumites!
During this time, there will be reduced capacity on the Support Line, and we are anticipating longer than expected wait times for callers to connect with a Counsellor. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to improve capacity and accessibility. If you would like to provide feedback about this change, you can do so here.

Please tag anyone else who you know use the Support line OR is waiting for Webchat to be back.

@Dimity for the time being the service will remain open until 8pm, including webchat when it does re-launch. If we're able to extend these hours in the future we'll definitely be letting you all know!

Late reply but I just stumbled across this and I think this is great news as someone like myself who normally uses webchats/messages as my main source of communication! 🙂 cannot wait for the WebChat to be launched here!

Hey @Blackcloud ,
I think a lot of people are excited when the webchat is back up.
Like many here, text-based communication feels a lot safer.
