Hey forums folk!
Our next Peer Group Chat on Thursday 14th July 2022 will be on the topic of Dealing With Failure
Dealing with failure can be a big part of everyday life and recovery. However, our perception of failure can sometimes impact how we deal with it. Let’s come together and talk about failure, how we can respond to it, and how this can either support or hinder us from moving forward.
The event start times across Australia are below:
WA: 5pm
NT & SA: 6:30pm
QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC & TAS: 7pm
Everyone is welcome to join! Tagging some members who may be interested @Appleblossom @chibam @Adge @MDT @Shaz51 @Teej @pinklollipop15 @petrichor @HenryX @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Jacques @Lila3 @Judi9877 @Gwynn @outlander @Zoe7 @Pancake @LostAngel @NatureLover @Sophia1 @Oaktree
For those new to Peer Group Chats, each chat session focuses on a specific topic and is guided by Peer Workers with lived experience of mental health issues and recovery. A counsellor is also present to assist in ensuring a safe environment for individuals and the group. It is a space for us as peers to share our stories and experiences, and connect with those who are going through something similar.
Peer Group Chats are hosted outside of the forums, using a platform called Chatwee.
To join an Online Peer Group and participate, you will need to register for an account with Chatwee.
To access the group to observe only and not participate, you can access Chatwee as a Guest.
On the night, follow this link to access Chatwee before the group starts.
You can join our Peer Group Chats every Thursday from 7:00-8:30pm (AEST).
Check out the FAQs page for more information.
If you aren't able to make it, you can always catch up by reading the transcript from the day after the event here.
