@tyme just trying to keep myself distracted by doing my puzzle. Having a bit of an emotional day today and just can't shake some really intrusive thoughts.

Do you find talking to people on helplines helpful @Dreamy ?
Or is it easier to just talk to people around you or on the forums?

@tyme helplines haven't really been helpful.
I like staying connected here but feeling pretty burdensome lately.

Have you ever tried speaking to a peer worker? Have you heard of Roses in the Ocean? https://rosesintheocean.com.au/
I have seen your posts on the forums, and it's great to see you reaching out to support others too, even when you are in distress yourself.
It takes a lot of courage and strength to do this. At the same time, it can also be a driver of your own wellness. @Dreamy
Hey @MJG017 ! Long time no "hear"?

@tyme i haven't heard of them before, thanks.
I like being able to support others and it gives me a reason to keep on going. I just haven't been able to do it as much lately cos I'm struggling so much myself and words just don't come easily.

I've never used the service either so if you do, I'd be interested to hear more @Dreamy
Yes, reaching out to help others can really be helpful, but as you said, you sorta need to have something in your cup to be able to pour out to others.
