@Jynx it's just been such a long time since I've written poetry so not really sure how i feel about it, its very much mixed emotions. It's sort of weird to have words/lines coming to me at random times when it hasn't happened for so long.
It really isn't any fun. But yes I'm trying to rest as much as I can. Kind of feel like a hot drink but tummy is also feeling funny so just waiting a bit and maybe I'll have one later.
Glad you got a bit of a sleep in and yay for getting some vitamin D. There's not really any sunshine here today and it's a bit chilly outside so other than taking Casper out to the toilet when he needs to go I'm staying rugged up inside.

@Dreamy legit, I feel that. My poetry tends to only come out when I'm utterly miserable, or falling in love. Kinda shows how emotionally charged it is!
Hope the opportunity for a hot choccie presents itself hehe. Oooh I might have a hot milo!!
Cosy-maxxing huh? Hehe

@Jynx @Dreamy today has been one of those days where I've had to be super self aware and go with the flow of managing my anxious brain.
Had a slow start to the day because getting out of bed was hard. Changed the bedding, and fed the dog and hit the road. I went into town to buy some PJ's and take myself to see the new Jurassic World movie. I had a mini panic attack in Big W triggered by overstimulation and the worker behind me sat something on a shelf and made a loud noise and I almost hit the ceiling. So, I left in a hurry and went for a wander to try and calm my farm and slow my poor heart down.
I found a coffee shop and it was a reminder that I hadn't eaten yet and it was lunch time. It was too peopley, so I walked a bit further and found another. Went back in after food and got myself PJ's and a book to read to keep me busy of a morning while on holidays. Was almost ready to wave the white flag and retreat home, but got myself to the movies. It took a bit to relax a little...not sure I was able to fully do it.
Now, I'm at the laundry, trying to get my washing done, so that I can go home and crash. They're cleaning it - there are other people here and vacuuming happening and I am trying to block it out and keep semi-regulated.

@MissinTooth wow hun, you have put in a LOT of effort today! Kudos! Anxious brain is like that hey, really twitchy over tiny things. And you made it to the movies!! Valiant hehe. Was it a good film?
I get VERY sensitive to sound when I am anxious or irritated! I think I nearly screamed the last time I was feeling very anxious, and my neighbour started to mow his lawn 😅

@Jynx @MissinTooth wanna have a cuppa with me. I'm completely overwhelmed right now and and need to calm down. I would love some company while I get through this moment.

@Dreamy kettle is on!
(Well okay I already have a coffee next to me, it is being kept warm with a lil tealight candle!)
Can I invite @Shaz51 too? She always loves a cuppa, and brings her warm mamabear energy with her wherever she goes.
@MissinTooth you want coffee or hot choccie? Hehe

@Jynx i have me a hot French vanilla latte. I've only just woken up but I'm in such a state of panic for no real reason, so I'm trying hard to slow my heart rate down and regulate my breathing. I've just sat at my table with my puzzle in front of me but I have tears on the edge of flowing and I don't know if I want to let them out or not or whether I really have a choice right now. Deep breaths and slow movements for me just trying to calm down.
@Shaz51 is always welcome ❤️

@Jynx the world is too noisey for me sometimes and today was one of those days. I'm like a cat on a hot tin roof and my jump scare factor is dialled up to 1000.
It wasn't the best Jurassic movie. I give it 5/10, because the dinosaurs were genetically modified ones and looked like aliens. I love the Jurassic Movies with like...the t-rex and Blue, the raptor!
I've just pulled into my driveway, so might be a bit late in joining the cuppa's for tonight... @Dreamy @Shaz51

@Jynx yes my poetry really starts to flow in the darkest moments. Good thing is that it gives me something to focus on during that time which is a somewhat welcome distraction when it happens.
Definitely need that cosy-maxxing. I have my oodie type jacket thing on, not sure what it's called but it's warm and fluffy.
