Re: Battles

@Jynx was actually chatting to a service at the time not a crisis one but let them know what had happened and that i needed help to calm down. We started talking about peer support work and some other things and it brought my mind out of that state. Funny that same person was the one that called an ambulance on me last time, like a week or so ago 😂

All is ok for the moment, back into my state of the dark thoughts but at least calmer.

Lately when I'm finding myself angry and frustrated at myself I'm dissociating which isn't something I've experienced before. Like even now I'm going in and out of moments, like I'll be typing and then sort of go to another place for a bit but then come back to my phone and have to try and piece together what's happened.

Re: Battles

@Dreamy huh, funny coincidence ay!! Goes to show it can be such a roll of the dice ay

Mm dissociation is tricky huh, but like anything you will figure it out as you go. Recovery is skills practice after all!

I'm glad you're still reaching out when you need to. I gots to dash!! Hope your night is relatively chill from here on out hun, just keep using your grounding and staying connected here, you got this! I'll catch you next week 💜

Re: Battles

@Jynx yes definitely. Was good timing though that's for sure.

Getting sick of having to try to figure out new things, especially when I haven't figured out other things yet 😂

Hope you have a good night and I'll catch you next time. Thanks for everything ❤️.

Re: Battles

@NiteKat sorry I was never able to reply to you. Things got really bad and I wasn't in a position to respond. Thankyou for reaching out to me though.

Re: Battles

Is there any @moderator around. Having a rough night. I can't sleep and my thoughts are racing through my head. I've tried crisis lines but it hasn't helped, just trying to pass the time and hoping this feeling goes away. I'm exhausted and overwhelmed but I can't switch off.

Re: Battles

Sorry to hear you're struggling tonight, and that the ways you've reached out haven't been a source of comfort or distraction. What are some of the things you were thinking of using to pass the time?

You're riding out the feelings tonight which sounds tough, so its great you are reaching out for support. Sometimes it is about riding that wave and getting through a hard night, I hope you can get as cosy and comfy as you possibly can.

Re: Battles

@DaydreamNation I'm really trying hard to get through but i feel that I'm not succeeding.

Each moment is getting harder and those thoughts are only intensifying. I dozed off for 20 minutes but I've woken up having a full on panic attack. Not sure how much more I can take.

Re: Battles

So glad you are still coming here and sharing how you are going through it all. Just keep taking it moment by moment, do you have some gentle or comforting music or a comfort show you can pop on for a little while?

Keep breathing and grounding, you are getting there, minute by minute.
