Re: Don’t want to accept the pain

Aye I think also maybe an x-ray to check for stuff like spine curve!! Haha how do our journeys keep lining up like this @creative_writer 😋

Yeah it's so bonkers how much experience some places require!! Like hello, how do you think people GET experience? So frustrating.

Re: Don’t want to accept the pain

@Jynx maybe I’ll ask the OT once I have an appointment with her if it’s worth getting an x ray or mri or something. I feel a bit awkward asking my GP to examine me. I think both physios and OTs can do a physical examination, maybe this physio might have some insight on what’s causing your pain.

It’s insane, like you need experience but how do you get it? I can’t help but think about how other candidates might be applying for jobs but have more experience than me. I don’t have much clinical experience

Re: Don’t want to accept the pain

@creative_writer I do gotta dash hun, so sorry I can't reply properly till tomorrow!!

Hope you have a restful night 💜

Re: Don’t want to accept the pain

@Jynx oppy I forgot to respond 😂. My head has been so scattered, I didn’t get much sleep last night. I hope your day has been kind to you 💖

Re: Don’t want to accept the pain

Ahaha we are scatter-brain twins @creative_writer that's all good!

My uni basically recommended volunteering to be the main way you start racking up experience - so hopefully that will help once you start!! It's an awesome thing to be able to list on your resume 😊

How's your day been?

Re: Don’t want to accept the pain

@Jynx I do look forward to volunteering. Still aggressively applying for jobs too. My focus has been more future focused lately, though I do get caught up in worrying loops. I do know there is only so much we can do

Re: Don’t want to accept the pain

All things in time @creative_writer I imagine the worry will ease off as you get stuck into the volunteering. And having more routine should help too!!

Re: Don’t want to accept the pain

@Jynx my body has also be thrown off today too with lack of sleep. It’s harder applying for jobs when sleep deprived, but they prefer if you submit applications earlier than later. I’ve been restless, and I’m not staying home tonight. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad with a migraine. At least I can stay seated tonight

Re: Don’t want to accept the pain

Aye @creative_writer looking for work is a full time job!! I hope you're taking days off!

Re: Don’t want to accept the pain

@Jynx I've been non-functional. today, so I haven't done any job stuff today
