Hi @57flyby2
I just wanted to reach out and welcome you to the forums - it’s great to have you here 💜
In my experience, searching for the care and support that we need can often feel as though we’re searching for a needle in a very large haystack and as such, I love how you’ve reached out to us here!
Although our community guidelines prevent us from sharing the details of specific Psychiatrists and Therapists, there are a few websites that may help you to be able to find the care and support that you need 💜
The first website that comes to mind is The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
One of the things that I really like about this website is that you can search for a Psychiatrist in your area 😊
I’ve just shared the link with you below, just in case you would like to explore this further:

The second website that I thought may also be helpful for you is the Australian Psychological Society.
Much like the website above, this website also has a section where you can search for a Psychologist who specialises in the mental health conditions that you’re living with 😊
I’ve just shared the link with you below, just in case you would like to explore this further:
Sometimes it can be a tricky to work out where to post messages as our community has one space that’s been created especially for people who are caring for a loved one who is living with a mental health condition (that’s where we are now 😊) and another space that’s been created especially for people who are living with a mental health condition 😊
Just from what you’ve shared with us here today, I got the sense that perhaps the lived experience section of our forums may be a better fit in terms of the support that you’re searching for and as such, I’ve just shared the link to this section of the forums with you below, just in case you would like to take a look:

Also, just while I remember, one of the things that really helped me when I was new to the forums and still finding my way around, was that if you would like to chat with another forum member, or reply to one of their posts, place @ in front of their username just like I did at the start of my post to you i.e. @57flyby2 that way, they will receive a message that you have contacted them 😊
I really hope that this helps you a little bit, but please reach back to me if there’s anything else that I can help you with and I’ll do my very best to guide you in the right direction 💜
Take kind and gentle care of yourself,
ShiningStar 💜
