@Dimity Yeah just being there for them, and helping them with their self image, self compassion, self love and confidence is all we can really do. I mean if you don't have the funds to keep on repairing what is damaged, they'll have to suffer the consequences of their actions, until you have the funds of course.

Much sympathy to you @Former-Member . My MH is badly impacted by just one case, I can't imagine how hard it would be to see so many. But I do have ongoing contact.
I've gained so much from this thread.

@Former-Member that makes a lot of sense! sounds like a lot of heavy things to see/hear/act on, and dealing with it numerous times as well - even harder. i wish you received better support at the time, you definitely deserved more. i imagine you did your best, and i appreciate you for trying so hard 💙

Thanks @rav3n, I wish I had received fair warning before accepting the job as well as the support. I thought I was sacrificing a good salary for good karma (as I took a big pay cut compared to what I was on prior), turns out I also sacrificed my mental health, my relationships with everyone around me, my house and possessions and if I hadn't have survived what I did, it would've been my life also.
To this day I still wonder about the people I dealt with, praying that their places are being maintained and they are all safe and their conditions / life has improved.

@Former-Member ahh they're smart with showing you the money and keeping the details lowkey! but also super unfair, i hope they don't treat their employees like that still... and i'll hope with you that those people you worked with are doing okay/better.
