@Dreamy I’m sorry you came crashing down. Try not to be hard on yourself because doing washing and cooking is a big thing especially when not feeling well. It is hard to push through really crap emotions and our brains thinking about things that make us worry. You’ve done awesome getting through today and I hope that this evening will give you some quieter time and you can enjoy the yummy soup you’ve made.
I finished training for today and we did really well. There’s more tomorrow and Thursday. It stopped raining a bit which was good and only really started raining again once we got home. First day out for a while as finally tested negative for covid.
Going to try to figure out what to eat. I hate having to do that when I feel yuck.
Ah a flower is cool for drawing. Do you know what type it is? Do you have a favourite flower?

@Appleblossom How are you? How has your day been?
I just watched that entire video. I really liked what she said. I’m going to watch some more of her stuff and try to implement some of it. She’s actually really cool thank you for the link.
I spend all my time trying to distract from my thoughts and feelings. I’m the emotions are thoughts are so distressing and painful hence trying to not think about them. It’s exhausting.
I have complex PTSD and have had it since around 7 years of age and I’m 52 now. I have had therapy and applied it and yet I feel woeful and more recently all the time. I’ve been told to practice mindfulness/self care and I do but to be honest it really doesn’t help me. I can’t afford to see a psychologist often as I’m on DSP at the moment and I cannot afford a psychiatrist. It’s just over $100 out of pocket per visit and that is my fortnightly food budget all gone. Anyway, what the lady in the video was saying made a lot of sense to me.
Have you tried her suggestions? Has it helped?

I had two gummies @Dreamy so I just talked and talked and I felt this disgusting layer of something when I saw her.

I'm planning what I'm going to say when my ship comes in. No hurry.

@Cuddlebear I'm sorry i didn't message you earlier. I've been laying pretty low on the forums until now. It's been such a rough night and it's going to get tougher.
I had a little bit of the soup but really couldn't eat much.
I'm glad the training went well and that the rain stopped for a while. Yay for testing negative for covid 😊.
Did you end up having something to eat?
I'm not sure what type of flower it was but I drew it. I don't have favourite things.

@PeppyPatti sounds like it was a bit rough having to go through it.
Can't imagine how hard it must have been for you but I'm proud of you for getting through it ❤️

@Dreamy I’m sorry you didn’t have a good night. It’s been a hard time and I really do hope you get some relief today. We are here for you and I’m really glad you are here and getting through.
I too am much the same. I’ve got training again and it’s starting shortly. I managed to get dressed and I’m having a coffee before I set off. It’s going to be a bit of a long day and I just hope I get through it ok.
