I’m physically sore and exhausted @Dimity but feeling relaxed. Hoping I can get some descent night sleep
I bought some new chrysanthemums as I had intended. Not far from register I saw plants that caught me eyes. Bracteantha Mohave. Plants had flowers either red or orange, I bought one of each.
4 new chrysanthemum, 7 lisianthus all now in larger pots. Small kalanchoe now potted ready for sale on Saturday morning

Feeling relaxed is good @Patches59 after the stress of the last few days.
I had a white bracteantha mohave for a couple of years. I like them.
Your other plants sound nice too.
My therapist was quite helpful today. So I'll persevere. Hopefully I'll get over feeling tired and low soon. Looking back it's been a long slog over the last couple of years. This week I come to the end of the post-surgery recovery period so things should improve.

@Dimity That’s good to hear about your therapist. Hoping things continue to be positive.
ive read that bracteantha mohair last for 2 to 3 years.
Was a good morning today including my team winning at croquet against a good team. I managed to score ‘hole in one’ by getting ball through hoop from a distance with first hit.
this afternoon and again tonight have received email from elderly relative, emails that have left me upset and in tears. We can’t reach agreement whether 2 adult relatives who died in 1930’s were buried in same grave or separate graves which are beside each other. I said next week I will connect the respective cemetery and obtain clarification from their staff. Between the 2 emails this relative has told me she remembers things from 70+ years ago, knows what is right and that I’m wrong plus that this afternoon she has contacted the respective cemetery and they confirmed she is right plus gave her other information.
its my younger years with my parents all over again being told I was wrong and that I knew nothing.
Last week in email this relative said she doesn’t have the $. to pay for everything on one grave. My offer to pay for half of costs was declined with her telling me she doesn’t need my help.
Feel like she’s wanting to take control of everything.
Main positive currently, Sunday afternoon a Scottish pipe band is coming to where I live to entertain people for couple hours. Love the sound of pipes being played.
9pm Friday night and I’m going to bed, feeling physically and mentally exhausted
hoping you have a nice weekend

Congrats on the croquet win @Patches59 .
You're lucky to still have an older family member. It's interesting she's so dogmatic - either very good memory or very domineering I guess you're picking up on being contradicted and it feels like you're disbelieved or you don't count which is understandable but that's unlikely to be her intention. I even get that feeling from a sibling although they're diagnosed with memory issues.

@Dimity @I went to cemetery trust yesterday and got answers to some questions I had about plagues for 2 ancestors few generations back. Learnt a lot about getting permission to be able to do anything on a grave.
Myself, plus quite a lot of other people where I live, enjoyed listening to pipe band for couple of hours.
lady sitting beside me asked if I can make her an Australian theme card to put with a gift later this year when she spends time with a friend of hers in Canada.
going to do 3 different cards for her to look at. Almost finished the first one. Have used 2 shades of green, some gold, paper showing wattle plus I added a blue wren. I’ve got some paper where design is little kookaburras. Planning on using it for second card and putting larger kookaburra inside the card. For the last card, I’m going to feature a Major Mitchell Cocky on the front

The cards sound good @Patches59 they're clever ideas. I hope they work out.
I guess you meant plaques not plagues?
One of my beefs is that I don't know what my brothers did with my parents' ashes. We're estranged so I can't ask them.
One of my nephews was in a pipes and drums band.

How are things progressing at your place @Dimity
how is Tiger going? Has his want for food settled down?
my front garden is finished being planted. I’m bit not sure how well the orange Bracteantha mohair is. Almost all leaves looking limp and sad when I planted it. I used the 2 larger terracotta bowls I had bought, 3 succulent plants in each with small one pebbles over the top prior to burying about 2/3 of depth into the garden. Bowls filled with succulent and cacti potting mix.
I’m not sure if my elderly relative is wanting to take over and do everything. I’m told her I’m wanting to order 2 plaques, in email reply she says she will make all the enquiries after she gets home in couple of weeks.
Im looking forward to seeing my doctor on Wednesday, im wanting to discuss referral for cortisone injection plus referral to pain management clinic

I tried to search for gardens in search facility and it wouldn't come up, but here it is.
Did a few hours work in the physio garden today.

Hello @Patches59 . I'm muddling along thanks, still quite low. I started with a new physiotherapist a couple of days ago. Pretty stiff and sore afterwards although that could also have been from my flu shot. Tiger has his ups and downs so I'm happy if he still has good days.
Well done on finishing your new front garden. I find a seasol solution usually helps plants pick up - I hope your everlasting comes good. I have a xerochrysum in the garden that's quite thirsty.
Yes it sounds as though your relative wants to be in control even if she wouldn't get things done without your help. It can be a bit tricky.

Glad your greening efforts continue @Appleblossom .
My garden has been on hold - a number of herbaceous perennials lifted into pots to make room for a small digger. But the gardener said he'd likely fit me in before Easter and has gone quiet since..
