I just bought a different Protein Supplement for my Birds - it smells exactly like Blood & Bone Fertilizer (to me).

They may not like that at all (not used to it) - So I mixed it in with some Egg & Biscuit Mix (which they do like very much), to try to hide the Smell (& taste).

Canaries & many of my Finches need Protein Food to Breed - or they won't raise any baby birds.

That's because they eat Insects in the Wild, & they feed their baby birds on insects.
