Schizophrenia

My son is still in hospital,  and will be in for a few weeks yet, he is very unwell. His psychiatrist said he has severe schizophrenia.  They are going to change his medication, so it will be 18 weeks to get up to the desired dose! 

The hospital team has been very helpful this time around and his psychiatrist has filled me in on everything and calls me whenever something changes or he needs me to come in to sign something. I feel he is in good hands this time.🤞

I have visited with my son a few times, but he is still very volatile and telling me it's my job to fix everything..

The Dr also mentioned about a metal health rehab that he can go to, while he is getting used to the medication, and learn life skills etc. That sounds wonderful to me! If only my son will agree to it...

Thanks again, for your support. I know he is in a safe place for now.
