hey @Captain24 i hear you've had to extend your stay for another 2 weeks, i know that sudden change like that can be frustrating to hear about and process. i'm sorry you're dealing with this. 💜
i also hear you've also got a new psych who's been great so far, is this something you can to talk to your psych about?

Ach, hey @Captain24 I can totally understand how that would be a big emotional blow hey. Just thought I'd pop in and offer some hugs to ya 🫂🫂
Hope you're feeling a little better this evening? Or at least more settled?

I’ve got my car booked in for a pink slip but I don’t think they will let me drive. I don’t know what I’m going to do

I have a Pdoc appointment again today. There isn’t much that I can tell her about organising things. Work hasn’t gotten back to me as to whether I can take more time off. So I can’t find a dog sitter and organise that until I know about work. I can’t commit to the 2 weeks without having my ducks in a row.
I asked the nurse that’s in on afternoon shift usually if she would drive my car but of course she is on morning shift tomorrow.
My facilitator from the group that I was in is happy to have me back to redo the stage 2 while I’m still here. But I have to ok that with the doctor.
The admission nurse thought that I was going home tomorrow. No one knows what is going on.
My anxiety is sky high. My heart rate is high. I have a headache. My chest hurts.

Hi @Captain24 I hear how stressful this is. There's a lot of logistics to work out and it all sounds very overwhelming.
So it sounds like hearing back from work is really holding things up and creating a lot of the uncertainty right now. Would it be possible to reach out to them and ask if they have an answer for you?

I don’t have any contact information for the HR superintendent that I need to talk to. I know she has been emailed but I didn’t do it @Ru-bee.

Hmm that's very frustrating @Captain24 you'd think they would make it a priority getting back to you in these circumstances. I hope that you hear back very soon!
In the meantime is there anything that can help to manage the stress and anxiety of this situation? It sounds like it would be very hard to get rid of all stress right now, but maybe there's something that could just take it from a 10/10 to a 9 or 8?
