There no getting into a doctors here. It’s a 4-6 week wait. @Eve7. Your medical system is in a huge crisis. The two doctors surgeries aren’t taking in any new patients. It’s 1 1/2 hours to the next town.
Im sorry you are in hospital. Is it helping?

WOW…that’s terrible to have to wait so long for a Dr @Captain24 I complain if I have to wait a week for the gp.

That’s what it’s like out here @Eve7. Also our fuel prices are 10-20 cents dearer than the surrounding towns. We’re in a world of hurt here at the moment.
I hope ECT helps you. I know last year was probably in of the worst years of your life. Im hoping for you that this year is kinder to you

That must be very difficult @Captain24 with those costs and wait time.
Last year was awful so hopefully it will be better this year. I’m going on the Ghan in April so something good will be happening.

The Ghan sounds good. @Eve7. It’s something I’d like to do. My auntie has done it and said it was great. I’m glad you have something positive to look forward too.

I’m suppose to be at work but my Covid is too bad. I’m struggling from walking from the bed to the lounge. @Jynx
How’s your day?

@Captain24 oh geez that's brutal!! You poor thing. This your first time getting hit? Sounds like it's really mucking you about! Hope you got heaps of movies and tv to watch?
My day's been alright, just popped to the chemist... I did a woopsie and APPARENTLY already refreshed my ADHD meds script in early December, but of course I forgot entirely! So I had also spent like 20 min on the phone to the doc office trying to sort it out, only to have em go... wait, you already have this script? LOL

This is my sixth time @Jynx but a lot worse than the others. I feel so sick. I’m just miserable, tired, cold, achy the list goes on. Have you had it?
Im sitting in the lounge watching Virgin River waiting for my dogs to come home.
We’ve got a storm brewing. We have had one everyday for the last 4 days.
That’s funny. Final outcome… you got meds! lol. We can’t ring the doctor for scripts, you have to make an appointment and that takes 4-6 weeks.

@Captain24 aww wow! You'd think your body would be good at fighting it off by now! Unless you're immuno-compromised? Plus, big mental stressy makes our immune systems a bit crappier anyway. We're all just a bit vulnerable here ay!!
I've only had it once, and it was gnarly but nothing too hectic, thankfully. I'm honestly surprised I haven't gotten it more, considering I live in the city!!
Lush, love a storm!! You got that delicious petrichor smell wafting about?
Yikes. That would require so much planning ahead!! My biggest downfall!! Is that cos you're kinda rural or is it just that doctor's practice? Honestly being able to get my scripts refreshed over the phone is new to me too!! I would have to go in if I wanted to change anything though.
